Unique Collaboration with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra

In November 2024, Magnus Lindgren took his collaboration with pianist John Beasley to new heights alongside the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra for a concert that blended intimacy with grandeur. The program included Portraits, a specially commissioned suite where Lindgren and Beasley composed musical “portraits” of each other, culminating in Dialogs, a shared exploration of their creative perspectives.

The evening also showcased symphonic arrangements from their Butterfly Effect album, now elevated to new dimensions through the orchestra’s sound. Guest vocalist Michael Mayo brought his dynamic artistry to the performance that also included a tribute to the timeless compositions of Wayne Shorter, exploring new horizons of musical expression.
